Don’t worry… too much at least.

Yesterday I accomplished a couple good little things for the process I’ve been working on.

I Added The Articles

I spent the time adding the articles to the site that were written and will be adding some images to go along with each article.

2. Continued Editing The Blog Template

I continued to edit the blog template by adding a Privacy Policy Page, Sitemap and also a Disclaimer page. Now everything shows up fine in editing mode, however when I go to display the page it only shows the posts / articles I made on the site.

This is where the snag comes in, I have to now go in and try to figure out the template code and find where the problem is.

Once I do this I’ll be able to start promoting the site online. Trouble shooting, yep a lot of fun.

3. Introduced A New Partner

I ended up showing one of my good friends what we were doing and he seems pretty excited about it, so I will be breaking things up in steps and giving everyone their tasks to accomplish. Plan on getting all this dividing and conquering done at the beginning of next week.

4. Creating Templates

In the vein of being able to outsource this whole system, I decided to create templates for the project so everything would be easy to follow. One such template is for all the online accounts for the different sites we need to sign up for which include, Article directories, video sites, social bookmarking sites, social networks etc.

The plan is to use similar names and information to make it all easy when trying to log into each account.

Other than the little snag of fixing the template, everything has been going smoothly and once this 1st site is done, setting up more sites will be a lot easier.It’s usually the set up stage that takes so much time anyway.

The marketing is where the fun part comes in.

It’s impossible to think that everything you plan and create will run as smoothly as you expect it to. Between human error and software error, you’ll have your work cut out for you. So if you’re creating your own online business or through life in general, expect a few speed bumps along the way. Just slow down, adjust and then accelerate, with a bit of caution of course.
